About our community theatre

The Importance of Social Mission In The Community Theatre

Community theatres are vital role in the social fabric of a community. They provide a platform for local talent to showcase their skills, entertain audiences, and foster a sense of community pride. However, community theatres that operate as Community Interest Companies (CICs) take this role a step further by having a clear social mission and reinvesting their profits back into the community.

Reinvesting In The Community

One of the key aspects of a CIC is its commitment to reinvesting its profits back into the community. This can be done through various activities that align with the social mission of the theatre. For example, a CIC may provide social services to underserved population.

Supporting Education And The Arts

Another important aspect of a CIC is its focus on promoting education and supporting the arts. Our company led by David Baker is a shining example of this. With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the theatre. As the principal, director, teacher, casting director, and actor, he wears many hats to ensure the success of the theatre. Under David’s guidance, our aim to provide outstanding opportunities and experiences in the world of performing arts. This includes offering classes and workshops for aspiring actors, providing a platform for local playwrights to showcase their work, and collaborating with schools to bring theatre into the curriculum. By doing so, the theatre not only nurtures talent but also enriches the cultural landscape of the community

Our Support To Bullying Victims

Bullied children often feel isolated and helpless, making immediate access to support crucial. On our platform, volunteer staff members will be available to listen and provide advice. These compassionate individuals are dedicated to helping children process their experiences and find a sense of relief and validation. Our mission is to ensure that every child has someone to turn to during these difficult times.
