Saturday Drama and Comedy Club
Exciting news for aspiring actors in Blackpool! We are thrilled to announce the our weekly drama and comedy club for ages 16 and over. Sessions cover improvisation, sketches, and monologues
Productions
As part of our vibrant community, our members are excited to showcase their talents not only through stage productions like pantomime and anti-bullying plays but also at various public events. Among these events is Tram Sunday and various festival’s and fundraising campaigns including Children In Need in and around Blackpool.
Bullying Support
We are proud to offer a plethora of bullying support services, including resources such as helplines, Childline videos and free counselling. If you or someone you know is experiencing bullying, we encourage you to explore our website. We are also looking for volunteers to offer free counselling.
Community Service
Our community service plays a pivotal role in our CIC’s mission, serving as a cornerstone for fostering a sense of responsibility, connection, and stewardship among individuals and groups alike. One of the key initiatives we undertake to fulfil this commitment is litter picking.
Open Meetings
The Blackpool Community Theatre is hosting open meetings to discuss the future of the community theatre and plan for upcoming productions. These meetings are a platform for individuals to share ideas and engage in discussions about what productions to stage and how to contribute to the community.

We firmly believe that our mission extends far beyond the confines of theatre.. While it is undeniably vital to generate funds that sustain our own artistic initiatives, our commitment to the community reaches outwards, fostering support for various charities and community interest companies..
