Blackpool Community Theatre

Introduction

Blackpool Community Theatre CIC operates as a not profit community interest company. Although our registered and head office address is located in Manchester, our true base is in Blackpool, where we gather as a community and where our members and volunteers engage in performances, classes, and a variety of enjoyable and stimulating activities. So, if you or your child are interested in being part of something special and have a passion for performing, particularly in acting, then join our community theatre; you will not be let down. We welcome anyone aged 6 and over (currently improv classes for 16 and over are taking place on Saturdays between 3:30pm and 5:00pm).

What We Do

Productions

As part of our vibrant Blackpool community theatre company our members are excited to showcase their talents not only through productions like pantomime and anti-bullying plays but also at various public events. Among these events is Tram Sunday and various festival’s and fundraising campaigns including Children In Need in and around Blackpool.

Improv Classes

Exciting news for aspiring actors! We are thrilled to announce our Saturday improvisation classes for ages 16 and over have returned We also plan to introduce improv classes for ages 8-14 on Saturdays between 6:00pm and 7:30pm. All classes take place Spencer Court Community Centre near Sainsbury’s on Talbot Road in Blackpool. Sessions are only £3.00 each. So, if you love acting or improvisation join our improvisation classes.
